Cankramati: Theatrical Meditation Production

At the invitation of theatre artist Tsang Man-tung, Lee will contribute as a stage musician at Tsang’s new production, focusing on the meditation concept of ‘cankramati.’ Lee has previous performed in Tsang’s 2023 production, Ashtanga.

HK Phil Robert Ho Composers’ Scheme: Public Workshop & Showcase

Lee’s orchestral work, Des flammes… (2024) will be premièred by the Hong Kong Philharmonic under the direction of conductor Jung-ho Pak; Des flammes… will be performed alongside new works by Owen Ho, Chun-hei Lam, Tiffany Leung, Chuen-on So, and Yui-ka Zheng, as well as Christian Mason’s Eternal Return (2018).

Freespace Ensemble: Towards Transcendence

Lee will lead West Kowloon’s Freespace Ensemble, comprised of leading musicians in the region, presenting a programme of gems from the minimalist repertoire, including works by John Adams, Philip Glass, Julia Wolfe and Erkki-Sven Tüür.
