  • 27/11: HKNME New Horizons Recital

    Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Pierre Boulez, Angus Lee will be joined by pianist Linda Yim in presenting a recital focused on the musical lineage of the eminent French composer, featuring the Hongkong première of his seminal Sonatine‍ ‍(1954) for flute and piano, as well as works by Messiaen and Pintscher.   • 20/12: Flute recital at Hotel Stage's OPUS series

    Angus Lee will be joined by pianist Mark Hui at Hotel Stage’s MUSE on 20th December 2025 in a recital programme featuring sonatas by Carl Reinecke, César Franck, and his own. This recital is part of Hotel Stage’s brand new OPUS series. Tickets now available via Art-Mate.

  • 5-7, 9-11/12: Cankramati, theatrical meditation production with Tsang Man-tung

    Angus Lee returns to the second instalment in Tsang Man-tung’s critically acclaimed theatrical meditation produciton, Cankramati. The performance is part of the Opening Season of the East Kowloon Cultural Centre. Tickets available now via URBTIX.

  • CASH Golden Sail Award 2025

    Angus Lee has been conferred the 2025 CASH Golden Sail Award for ‘Best Serious Composition’ with his orchestral piece, … aux cendres (2024), commissioned and premiered by the Hong Kong Philharmonic under Elim Chan. The work was also featured at the 71st International Rostrum of Composers in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

  • "Inflections and Refractions."

    The revised version of Angus Lee’s sous rature (2017 / 2025) for violin & viola was premièred on 5th May 2025 by James Cuddeford (vln.) and William Lane (vla.) at the closing concert of the South China Contemporary Creative Music Institute in Guangzhou, China. The recording of the performance is now available.

  • "A work of dramatic intensities and existential risks."

    Angus Lee’s orchestral work, aux cendres (2024), has been selected for and presented at the 71st International Rostrum of Composers in Ljubljana, Slovenia in May 2025. Listen to the recording of work’s première, performed by the Hong Kong Philharmonic and conductor Elim Chan, on RTHK Radio 4’s dedicated programme on the Rostrum.
