outHEAR New Music Week 2026: selection

Angus Lee has been selected as a composer fellow at the 2026 edition of the outHEAR New Music Week. He is commissioned to create a new work for solo voice with bass clarinet, violin, and viola, to be premièred by vocalist Camille Primeau and members of Klangforum Wien. He will also take lessons with Mark Andre and Orestis Toufektsis.

Angus Lee’s first, virtual appearance at the Festival was in 2022, when his string quartet, Palimpsest II (2021), was premièred.
