Hong Kong Philharmonic: Selection for Robert Ho Composers’ Scheme 2023/24

Alongside five other Hongkong composers, Angus Lee has been selected to take part in Hong Kong Philharmonic’s Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Composers’ Scheme 2023/2024.

Under the supervision and guidance of British composer Christian Mason, mentor of the Scheme’s 2023/24 edition, all six composers will create a new short orchestral work for the HK Phil, to be premiered in May at The Box, Freespace, West Kowloon Cultural District. Conductor Jung-Ho Pak, who led the performance of the Scheme’s inaugural edition in 2018/19, will return to command the premieres of the six pieces.
